Chapter 1 - Virtual Currency Investing Simulator
IN THIS LESSON
In this lesson, I explain how to join the investment simulator provided by marketwatch.com. Follow the steps in the video or below:
Step 1:
Above your profile, click the box labeled "Enter Company or Symbol" and enter the name of a company or its ticker symbol.
Step 2:
After completing step 1, a list of possible companies will appear. Click Trade on the one you want to invest in
Step 3:
You will have 4 options: buy, sell, buy to cover, or sell short. After selecting one, input the number of shares desired in that transaction
Step 4:
After completing step 3, select the price type you want the transaction completed at. This includes Market, Limit, or Stop.
Step 5:
Once steps 1-4 are completed, simply click the purple button labeled “Submit Order” in the bottom right side of the pop-up.
